UHU Plast Spezial provides exceptional adhesion for a wide range of plastics, including polystyrene, impact-resistant polystyrene types (ABS, SAN, SB, ASA), hard and soft PVC, Plexiglas® (PMMA), Celluloid®, cellulose esters (CN, CAB), and polycarbonate (PC). It also effectively bonds these plastics with wood, paper, and cardboard. Please note, it is not suitable for polyamide (PA), acetal resin (POM), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone (Si), or expanded polystyrene, which will be attacked by the adhesive.

Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, and grease. Apply the adhesive to one or both surfaces to be bonded, then join them together immediately. Initial adhesion is achieved within 5-10 minutes. For thin-walled plastics, apply sparingly to prevent warping. Dried adhesive and stains can be removed with acetone or nitrocellulose lacquer thinner, after testing on an inconspicuous area.
