The IMOU VD1 is a door viewer that combines a 5 MP camera (2880 × 1620) with a 4.3-inch color screen, providing a clear view of what’s happening outside your door. Thanks to Always-on Video (AOV) technology, the device continuously monitors the area, eliminating delays and the risk of missing events. A wide viewing angle of up to 149° and Wi-Fi connectivity on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands enable stable real-time viewing in the mobile app. The built-in 4800 mAh battery allows for long operating times without the need for frequent charging.

Continuous monitoring with AOV technology

The Always-on Video mode ensures the camera continuously captures footage, creating time-lapse recordings and saving full video clips upon event detection. This solution provides better control over the area in front of the entrance and reduces energy consumption through intelligent resource management.

Detailed image and wide field of view

The camera, equipped with a 1/3" CMOS sensor and 5 MP resolution, guarantees a detailed image that facilitates the identification of people and situations at the door. A 2.3 mm focal length and a wide viewing angle of 125° horizontally, 71° vertically, and up to 149° diagonally provide a full view of the area without blind spots. Additionally, an 8x digital zoom allows you to zoom in on important details.

Convenient viewing on the screen and in the app

The built-in 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 480 × 272 lets you instantly check what’s happening outside—without needing to use your phone. At the same time, the doorbell camera works with the IMOU app for iOS and Android, allowing for remote viewing and control from anywhere. The device offers a privacy masking feature that lets you exclude selected areas from recording, such as your neighbors’ property. Additionally, human detection in AOV mode, powered by IMOU SENSE technology, filters out unnecessary notifications, focusing on real threats.

Stable connectivity, data storage, and long battery life

Support for Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax standards and dual bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) ensures a stable connection even in challenging conditions. The camera allows you to save recordings to a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB, enabling you to store large amounts of footage locally without needing to use external services. The 4800 mAh battery allows for up to several weeks of operation in standby mode. The device fits doors with a thickness of 35 to 102 mm and holes with a diameter of 14–26 mm, making it easy to install on various types of doors. Its compact dimensions and light weight (276 g) make it discreet and convenient to use.
